Parents as Partners

At Millington Road Nursery School, we are proud of the strong connections we make between us and parents/carers. We build strong and empathetic relationships with parents so both they and we have the confidence to support the children and share any concerns. We never use agency staff so both you and your child will always see a familiar face. We also invite parents/grandparents and carers to become involved in the Nursery School, whether this is a regular session of volunteering in our beautiful garden, coming in to read a story occasionally to the children or a one-off talk about a special festival. Just let us know if you are able to help in any way as we would love for you to become involved.

We also ask you to support the Nursery School’s Heathy Eating and Eco policies

by supplying fruit for the children’s snack time and cutting down the use of plastic in their lunch boxes.

We are very keen to hear from parents that can offer their expertise as Trustees of the school. The Nursery hosts regular parents’ coffee mornings so that you have the opportunity to meet each other.
